Mindy’s Bio

MINDY PASSMORE leads from her breadth of experience in business strategy, demonstrated achievements in financial leadership and a passion for creating high performance global teams. With a natural analytic and data-driven approach, she creates insights that drive value to a company's bottom line and provide the foundation for communicating the organization's story. Passmore's intuitive nature has evolved into a unique talent for seeing what will or won't go well. She is a community builder and continuous learner who takes on extreme challenges, delivers on commitments and most importantly walks the talk.

Most recently, Passmore was Vice President and CFO of KMG Chemicals, a global producer of specialty chemicals. She was chartered with transforming the Office of the CFO into a trusted advisor to executive leadership, investors and the Board of Directors. She built new teams, processes and technology infrastructure capable of supporting growth into a billion-dollar global company. Based on state-of-the-art data analytics, she improved cash flows by reducing the cash conversion cycle and through improving forecast data, was instrumental in a stock price increase of 80%.

Previously Passmore held financial and information technology leadership roles spanning a new public company, a mid-sized private company and a Fortune 300 company. At Archipelago Learning, a partially private equity held global SaaS education company, she built a new financial infrastructure that enabled accelerated market share growth. She also supported organic growth and the ultimate successful sale of the company by creating sophisticated analytics capability. At Commercial Metals, Passmore served as VP & CIO as well as Corporate Controller & Chief Accounting Officer. Among her accomplishments, she led the largest capital project in the company's history including global business transformation and SAP implementation. She began her career in public accounting on the audit staff of Deloitte & Touche and then held various positions in managed healthcare, including serving as CEO and President of a physician practice management company.

Passmore received a BBA in Accounting with honors, is a CPA and later attended the Stanford University Executive Program. She made presentations at industry conferences to investors on the value proposition of KMG Chemicals, was a regular speaker on various CIO and SAP related topics, and was featured in a CPA Magazine cover story. Passmore is also an award-winning Arabian horse breeder and trainer.
